  7.                              THE TRIBBS MENU SYSTEM

  10.      The heart  of TriBBS and what makes it so  easy to set up and maintain
  11.      is  its powerful menu system.  The  TriBBS menu system is comprised of
  12.      eight menus: the Bulletin Menu, the  Main Menu, the Message Menu,  the
  13.      File  Menu, the Door Menu,  the Door Bulletin  Menu, the Questionnaire
  14.      Menu, and the Sysop Menu.  As  you already know, TriBBS allows you  to
  15.      use  your  own  security level  specific  menus;  however,  TriBBS can
  16.      generate any of its eight menus from the information contained in  its
  17.      eight menu configuration  files.   These configuration  files have  an
  18.      extension of .MNU and are located in each node's NWORK subdirectory.

  21.      The Bulletin Menu Configuration File

  24.      The Bulletin Menu file has a name of BULLETIN.MNU.  As with all TriBBS
  25.      menu  configuration  files, BULLETIN.MNU  is a  text  file and  can be
  26.      edited  with any  text  editor.   The  format for  BULLETIN.MNU is  as
